After planning your budget and travel style, go to skyscanner or google flights has good travel inspiration. You can look at different locations and see which places fit the style and budget that you are looking for. This a great way to find places that meet your travel budget and style.
Next, go to youtube, instagram, pinterest and start researching those places. Ex) Solo travel to India. You can check what food they have, currency, best places to see.
Do some research on lodging potential in that area: hotel/resort, airbnb/vrbo, hostel, camping, etc. Trip advisor is a good website for reviews and ideas for what to do. Youtube and pinterest area also good places to find where the best place to stay in that location is. Booking.com is also a good spot to decipher prices of hotels, hostels and other lodging. This could help you decide if you want to go to certain locations based off of the accomodation prices.

By going through these tips, you will be able to pick out what location would be best suited or budget and activities based on research of accomodation, things to do and a budget plan :)
